Send salesforce reports as Excel attachments to any email address (including non-salesforce users).

What does it look like?

Your reports go to users as an attached Excel file in an email from you:

Use Cases

Problem:  You have an external vendor that needs an up to date product list on a weekly basis, but you don't want to give them a user account.
Solution:  Create a product report and use Report Sender to schedule the report to be run and emailed to their email address on a weekly basis.

Problem:  The CEO doesn't have a license for salesforce but wants to know what deals are closing this month.
Solution:  Schedule your pipeline report to be sent to the CEO's email directly.

Problem:  You have external partners sending you leads through web-to-lead and you want to give those partners regular updates of the status of their leads.
Solution:  Use a different Lead Source for each of your web-to-lead forms (one per partner), create a report for each partner, and then use the Report Sender to send the results of those reports to the partners on a nightly basis.

How does it work?

Start with a Salesforce Report - any report will do.  There are no restrictions on objects or fields, and all salesforce sharing rules and field level security for your user will be obeyed.

Follow these 3 easy steps to get your report sent by email on a scheduled basis:

Step 1: Open PowerPack Admin & Navigate to Report Sender

Step 2: Click "New Schedule" and Confirm Authorization

Step 3: Pick The Report and Schedule

At this point, your job is scheduled to go out.  You can also test the report by adding your email as a recipient and clicking "Send Now" in the report list.

You're Done!
